In the summer of 1988 I visited the Berlin Wall on a trip to Germany & Russia. Everyone in our group took the time to write a contribution on the wall - mine said: "Yesterday we wept with sorrow; Tomorrow we cry with Joy; Yield unto us the children of freedom. July 30, 1988. The wall came down 1 year, 102 days later. It was a beautiful sight to see. Today I have a piece of the wall that I got on a trip back in 1990.
