I went on a biking tour of Tuscany and had the most amazing time of my life. Hill top villages of Tuscany are absolutely breathtaking. When you visit one of them, you just go back in time as the buildings are not allowed to make any reservations. Do not forget to visit "Badia Coltibuno" for their excellent wines. Badia Coltibuno means "Monastry of the Good Harvest" and the monks actually lived and made wine here. This still make the best olive oil and wine in the region.

We just came back from Tuscany & too Tuscan trails tour with Todd Bolton. Very impressed with his wine knowledge & the obvious rapport he had with the vineyards that we visited. Much recommended.

We had the most memorable wine tour with Rebecca of Tuscan Wine Tours. We visited two wineries, an olive oil farm and a saffron producer for a wonderful Tuscan lunch. This was the best day of our entire trip to Italy! I recommend the tour to anyone visiting Florence and you can look up Rebecca at http://www.tuscan-wine-tours.com

My husband, Michael, and I recently took a tour with Todd Bolton of Tuscan Trails and immediately had to come back to email our reactions. We cannot express how impressed we were with Tuscan Trails' wine tour. Todd's knowledge was amazing, both of Italy and of wines. He was informative, entertaining, friendly, and, perhaps above all, patient, as he was willing to take time to explain everything to those of us who do not know much about Italian wines. We would definitely recommend Tuscan Trails to others traveling in the area. www.tuscantrails.com

My wife and I took the San Gigmignano tour as part of our honeymoon in Italy. Our guide, Vittorio, really knew his stuff! Early in the tour he asked us a few questions about our knowledge and experience with wines so that he could tailor his tour to our level of knowledge. My wife and I know how to uncork the bottle and drink it, but that's about all. It turns out that Vittorio knew just how to present things for us and really teach us the baby steps of wine tasting. He took great care to explain how to look, smell and finally taste the wine. His knowledge of the processes by which the wines are made as well as what affects the ultimate flavor in one's mouth was very impressive. We toured two wineries, one small "mom & pop" kind of place and another, much larger and more sophisticated. The contrast between the two very interesting but you could tell that both companies took great care and pride in their product. In short, my wife and I LOVED our wine tour. It was the perfect experience! Thank you, Italy and Wine! www.italyandwine.net
