Burano is so nice..so colorful...it's starting to get little touristy but not nearly as much as Venice. Try to go beyond the obvious in Venice and visit Burano.

I beg to differ. Visiting Burano is probably the most boring thing to do in Venice. First, the ferry ride is really long and then there's really nothing worth seeing or doing on the island and you will only realize that when you reach there. Finally, the lace work for which the island is famous is very very ordinary
