I remember when that burned I was working on a Farm in switzerland and the whole Family cried when they heard the news of the fire. It is tragic to lose anything of such beauty and historical Value.
When crossing the Bridge stop in the middle and just Listen... its nice and quiet almost makes you forget that you are in the middle of a busy city.

My son and I crossed the bridge in 1992 and I cried as well when I heard of the fire. I was able to visit it again in 2000 with my husband.

We visited Lucerne in May of 2010 and it was a wonderful experience.
I loved everything about Lucerne and would like to visit again
